New guy here, Hi Y'all from West Texas. Also a first time FIAT owner. Purchased a 1977 a few weeks ago and loving it so far. Going to get a chance to mess with it this weekend. Have noticed a few thing that just don't look right so I will be posting some pictures and lots of questions this weekend. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Anyways looks like some great information on this forum and some really smart people. I look forward to your wisdom on Fiat Spiders.

Welcome!
Not sure how far you are, but in a few weeks (March 20-23) we will have a meeting of ~30 Spiders just south of Austin.
Even if you car can't make it, come by and say hi! I can give you the info if you want.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Spent the day messing with my spider and am just frustrated and be wildered with all the questions I have. So many things seem to have been removed or relocated or just don't work. UGH! calling it quits for to day, but have one question, what is a good repair manual to purchase? I am going to need one to figure this thing out! :|

You can get a Haynes manual fairly inexpensively and they are ok, not great. The factory manual has hundreds of pages and is the most comprehensive. They are available online for free as a pdf, if you search this site you will likely find some links.
