Hi, new 1977 Fiat Spider 124 Conv here ..

Post by SeattleRaines »

Just a Hello from Seattle, WA. Bought my first orange Fiat last Thursday.
Straight body, luggage rack, nice wheels, new tires. Needs dash work, has new engine and shocks.

Now I am wondering if I made a mistake! But excited to drive it and see how it goes.

I look forward to learning much more about this car.
Anyone know of a Fiat Spider club in the Pacific Northwest?
Thanks everyone, Jm

Welcome from a neighbor to your south (Corvallis, OR). I bought my 1975 Fiat 124 just over 3 years ago. It was in pretty rough shape but limited rust. Rust is the primary villain that destroys our cars. Everything else can be restored or modified to bring it into driving shape. Parts are way more affordable and available vs. other import cars.

As for a local club for you here is a possibility. http://www.fiatnorthwest.org/

There are several folks on this forum that reside in the Seattle area.

We do love pictures of your car and your progress making it drive-able.
