My first Fiat... 1975 Spider 124 Sport
Hi everyone my name is Mike. I recently purchased a silver 1975 Spider. I drove the car home BUT it has no power and very low compression. I have already found tons of information from this site. I have been a professional Technician for 14 years mainly on domestic cars and forklifts. I am looking forward to learning about my car. The body and paint were recently done. The interior is in pretty good condition. Wiring not so great. I am sure I will turn to this site for info and input from members since you all have had your hands all over these cars. Thanks Mike.

Thanks for the Welcome. I checked out the links that were sent. I will be new to photobucket but should be easy enough. This is my first Forum. I have read my share of forums during web searches but never a member. My son got me hooked I guess with forums on his car. I live in Yukon Oklahoma. Oklahoma City area.. The map is cool with members all over and some near me. Pics coming soon.

Re: My first Fiat... 1975 Spider 124 Sport
I bought the car a week ago 7 miles away for 2 grand. The engine timing cover says 1800. The bumpers along with everything else were shaved and tucked. Not a body man so not sure on the wording. The hood bumps were cut and flipped. I would have left the hood alone for sure but I am ok with it. 5 speed of course with 5 gear whining and singing. It is a running project but barely running. I pulled the timing cover in the photo for inspection.
