Unknown Item

Hey, I was wondering if I could get some help identifying an unknown item I found on my '76 spider.

I found this circuit board mounted on the passenger side - just above the map pocket. Any ideas?

The Dual Point Relay maybe? (for switching from the retarded points to the advanced points when warmed up)

Here's how it was mounted if that helps

I think it´s a seat belt light delay switch. It should be mounted under the glove box. It is made to live the seat belt light and buzzer ON for a while before turning it OFF.
I had the same on my 1976.

Thanks coise, I'll look that up in the wiring diagrams and see if the wire colors match. This will be easier than look for all of the White/Red and Yellow/Red wires in the electrical diagram and then seeing what they hook up to. (I tried that method once - I was starting to go crazy and cross-eyed)

That explains the helicopters overhead since I disconnected it.

I traced enough of the circuit to determine that it is indeed a timer. It's configured to turn on for 6 seconds or so. It is the seatbelt light timer, item 189 on the right hand side of this diagram:

If you'd like to take a few more photos i could trace the rest of the circuit and post a schematic. There are a few parts that aren't visible in your current photos.
