Many thanks aj81... and especially Brad, you're an asset to any Fiat owner, if you're ever down under I owe you an ale or four. :D

Good luck tim! Hey, what is snow?

Re: hazard switch visual info?-Update

update is I found a white connector cluster in the dash for the hazard switch It's got a red wire taped with it which I think is hte power for the lighter. That would make sense since those were to the 2 items that were bypassed by the po.
My question now is that this white connector, whose plugs line up perfectly with the rectangular hazard switch I just got, has one loose wire coming from it. It's the violet and white in the picture which exits at the bottom of the pic. it stubs out to a clean cut end within about 1 foot of wire. All the other wires look to route off to a location.
So does anybody happen to know where that particular color wire should go on a 78?
I have the Artigue wiring diagrams and they are starting to make sense to me, but unsure where specifically this one wire is supposed to go.
Any help on this one is greatly appreciated.
