In the process of replacing the lenses and corroded mounting bolts of the turn signal fixtures, I lost track of the proper mounting orientation in the bumper. Does the fixture mount so the wires point out the outboard or inboard side? For example, on the passenger side turn indicator, is the cable closer to the outside (wheel side) or to the inboard (engine side)?
The wire harness seems more centered in the apron opening if outboard, but the fixture seems a little tight against the rubber bumper opening when installed that way making it hard to put the lenses back on?
Thanks,
Kevin
