When I was a kid , my summer job in 79 was driving the new cars from the ship dock to lots for disbursement around the country. I never forgot the Fiat spider, and last year I bought a 78 with just over 109000 km. My dream car! But why, with so many owners of old Fiats is it hard to get Perrelli tires for it?

Nobody wants to produce 13" tires because the overall demand is quite low. Lots of us change to 14 or 15" rims to get better tire availability, among other reasons.

a 2 sec GOOGLE search yielded me some 13" tires on their US site soooooooooooooooooo yes

Winter pirellis' on a Spider Jay? How Canadian

Pirelli quit making the 13 inch "P400"s about 10 years ago. Had one of the last sets but they only lasted 2 seasons.
I had "Michelin X"s on my car when I bought it, great tires, but Michelin also left the 13 inch market about the same time as Pirelli. Michelin is now back in the 13" market. Yesterday I ordered a new set of Michelin Defenders for the Spider. Should be in next week.

Nice that Michelin is making a 13'' ,but a 800 treadwear rating? Wow! That will make rocks feel squishy

They should definitely last a while,though
