Located in coastal Arroyo Grande near San Luis Obispo with easy access to many backroads year round. 79 spider, currently running, stock yellow, mostly original with 72k miles. Was a member of the forum many years ago but never renewed when formats/ownership changed.

You got that right! Enjoyable in a rental car, and I can only imagine the sensations in a Spider :D

Baltoberni. That's a stretch of road I travel all the time, Highway coming off the Nipomo Mesa heading south toward Santa Maria. You have to be alert for farm equipment on the road. I'm planning a few days in Maryland in October, no Fiat though. Can you recommend a favorite back road in the Chesapeake area? Thanks

Autumn foliage peaks around Halloween in these parts, so you may luck out, weather-wise, on your trip here.

PM me as the dates for your trip draw near, and we'll work something out ... maybe a spare Spider will be available for an impromptu drive. In fact, I'll trade you a Spider even-up for one of those building lots a few miles North of where this photo was taken.

I'm really interested in seeing pics of yellow Spiders. I have a white one that I'm considering a color change on and the Fiat yellows appeal to me.

Welcome!!
