Light, blinkers, radio, instument gauges suddenly out
Help. putting 1984 car back together. Left paint shop things seem to work. Parked in barn for about a month as I worked on it. Now no lights, blinker, radio, tach, oil pressure, gas gauge. Parking lights, cigar lighter, battery light work. Found vacated mouse nest in glove box. fuses seem ok. Could they have chewed all those circuit wire behind upper consol? All those wires don't all run back there do they? - Joe

I would start by checking your grounds; 90% of Spider electrical issues stem from poor grounds.

Per George, checking the grounds is the first thing. After that, I'd pull the gauge dash insert and check the wiring for nibbles. It's a grouchy process, but given the symptoms, I'm wondering if friend mouse had a few helpings of multi-colored snacks.

Thanks, Fellas. I looked at the wiring diagrams. Not verly good at it, but what a couple of the circuits have in common is G3. Anyone know the location of G3? G1 and G2 are the front head light grounds.

there is a ground pod located on a square tube that supports the bottom of the dash. Can see it from the floor looking up. It will be between the steering column and the center console.
