Heater Return Tube Small Line Hookup To

New to the forum guys i have a 1975 124 spider convertible need a little help with where does the little nipple line go to that come off the Heater Return Tube Small Line that runs to the heater core and cylinder head there's a second smaller connection thats smaller than the hole that connects to the heater and cylinder head. Not sure how to upload photo's yet but will soon as i figure that part out.

Sorry maybe i'm not clear working on posting a photo right now

So a) tube installed to water pump at the other end of tube that now is close to the fire wall would be B) larger hole connects to the heater core hose entering the heater core which has a return hose going into the cylinder head. c) there still a smaller tube that i believe either goes to the carb or to the intake manifold but i"m not sure. the tube that was on the old one clearly is long enough to connect to the carb or intake manifold working on photo up load.

Here's the tube one end to water pump the very end connects to the heater core in line then the heater core out ine goes in to the cylinder head there's still the little line there off to the side that connect to were?

I dont know if you have the right tube for the car. On an FI car, that small nipple connects to a hose that runs to a small brass heater box on top of the throttle body. If you have a carb with a hot water choke, it may be supplying water to that. Csaba will chime in....he know all

yes there's going to be water needed to the carb so that's were I was thinking it would run to logically since there's no other way I see the carb getting water to it beside that little nipple that's the same size nipple that's on the the carb but just not sure of it but judging by the length of the hose that was connected to the old heater tube end when I purchase the car those are the only 2 locations it would lead to, there was no carb when I purchased the car, so I'm now working with a used Weber 32 which I have located that will need hot running to it.

Got it figured out this morning guys carb is the 32 ADFA carb as suspected one line goes to the carb with another line going into the intake manifold little port.
