Fiat published a manual titled:

Spider 2000 Electrical Diagnostic Manual 1980-1981. It is available online also.

I think this manual is worth having as paper copy to work with at one's car. Although it is year specific. Much of the information applies to other years. It gives good troubleshooting procedures, and circuit operations. It also provides information on grounds and component locations. The original is in color which also helps.

The only advantage I see to buying a schematic is that I got a nicely bound copy with a waterproof cover. 7 bucks. But it is free on line of course, and you can just print it out.

the advantage to a schematic like Mssr Artigue's is you can electronically draw over the top of it to color code or add mods
