Hi everyone,my name is Rob (Roberto),,,i just joined this forum. I used to be on this forum quite some time ago,but could never log in,,finally joined up again ! I've just bought a Fiat Spider ! Vin # says it should be a 76,but Vin # on the door says it was built in 75,,,ownership says 74 ! I know it ain't no 74,but which is it ? Anyway,I also own a 1970 124 Sport Coupe,,my pride and joy. I will probably need a lot of guidance for this Fiat Spider to be all it can be so i hope i'm in the right place ! I just sold my beloved X1/9 to finance be buying this Spider,,was sad at first but i am excited about bringing this new Fiat to life. I will post pic's of my cars as soon as i figure out how to do it,,,

1976 model years started production around June of 1975, so it's very possible that a '76 was manufactured in '75.

My 76 was built in Nov 75 and my friend's Spider was built right around the same time. We could compare VIN's if you want but it really doesn't matter all that much.
