rubber pieces under rear hold down bar for new top

The body shop removed the rear hold down bar on the covertible top to paint. They didn't replace it. There are two rubber piece about 18 inches long on the floor. The pieces have a groove in them to fit over a lip like a piece of rubber molding. When I put the pieces on the tub's lip that would be under the hold down bar the bar stick up and out too far. Can anyone tell me how these rubber pieces fit into the hold down bar for the rear anchor of the top? Thanks for any help, Joe
