1980 Convertible top header bow

Post by amawds »

Just ripped the torn up top off of the convertible frame for my 1980 project. The front bow is swiss cheese. I want to go on a rant about how Italians suck for installing parts with no goddamn paint on them, but point is I need a CS2 top header bow. I found OE NOS for about $420 shipped, but clearly if I can find better solutions I'm going for it. Considered repair but with how much money is into this car, I'm not cutting corners in such an obvious way. If anybody has one with minimal rust, even if it needs SOME repair send me some pictures, I'd love to get in touch with you and see if we can work out a deal. Otherwise I'll have to bite the bullet and buy the NOS part. I was gonna buy the Fiat 500 brake conversion with my next paycheck :(
