Hey all,

My name is Matt, I'm a 21 year old from Washington. I'm attending Central Washington University for Psychology and Anthropology. I bought a 1978 Fiat Spider 124 about a year ago now and just recently stumbled on this forum. I'm hoping it will be a good resource as well as just a fun place to talk about the fiats.

congrats on your purchase.

not sure how relevent your anthropology studies are to fiat spider ownership, but a psych degree will come in handy dealing with people who enjoy trashing our cars, understanding why you were crazy enough to buy one, and helping keep the car running (just treat it like a mildly confused human and you'll be fine).

Welcome Matt. Nice having another PNW Spider owner on board. You will find plenty of help here to tackle any job on your car. The 124 is easy to work on. When you have a chance get a shop manual and please do post pictures of your car.
