:D Glad to have a forum for Fiat related interest. Currently working on and driving 1982 FI Spider.
Prior owner made a mess of electrics and body work. This car has normal rust on doors and wheel well edges. Plan on body repair after all (read: most) mechanical issues resolved.
Have been reading these post and it has helped with fuel pressure problems.
The 1981 Spider was totaled in accident by ex-wife. Bought salvage for parts inventory. Drove that Fiat 100k miles in 10 years with very few break-downs. Hope this 1982 is as good.

Thanks for the Alabama connection.
We live in the Pell City area, but I work all over North & Central Alabama.

Currently "Pinnie" is covered up waiting on her new parts. Front end bushings, all brake hoses and brake fluid reservoir.
I've been reading a lot of post on performance, but I think I'll get her running and driving good before I start any horsepower "enhancements".
I don't think I'll have too many problems with the parts replacement, but I will need to find a shop that can align the front end. :)
