Hi There,
I have joined the club after picking up my first 1978 124 Spider, I previously had a well tuned X1/9. I need to reread the post on upload images to share photos of my much cared for Fiat. It is a two owner car that I purchased from a great couple in Washington state last month. If anyone can recommend a mechanic it would be appreciated, I just need small maintence done as the car is in pretty good condition.
Cheers Harry

Hi there. Going to get some top-down before the November rains?
22C and sunny here...
I used to tear around Van in my 70 spider in the mid-late 70's as much as a not very well tuned 1438 can tear around.
Some might recommend Gio Clemente on Kingsway in Van. he and his family have and he still is dealing with Italian cars.
If you have a modicum of ability and a few metric tools, much can be done yourself. There are a couple of manuals out there as well as a fellow here has done an incredible job in providing the wiring diagrams, damb near priceless in my opinion for these cars.
If you are up this way with the car, pop in. The shop is in Summerland.

Thanks for all the kind welcome notes! Yes I have been making the most of what has been an amazing summer here in Vancouver. It has been 15 years since I have had a convertible or a car that makes you feel, smell and live every little bit of life! Grear to share this with the Fiat community.
Cheers
