Has anyone tried these on a Spider?

I have CD-39 wheels and Whoa/Wilwood brakes.

What problem are you trying to fix with it?

Re: HP brake booster and MC
I would like to decrease pedal effort and create at least the illusion of more 'bite' when cold. I have Willwood calipers with BP-10 pads, bedded in. The air is all out of the lines, the pedal is not low. But the pedal effort is not up to modern standards and I worry about the fact that I go between the Spider and the 500 or 3 series BMW and the pedal effort is really different.
Can I live with it? Sure. The car's stopping distance in a panic stop won't change even if the pedal effort changes.
I have thought about switching to an organic pad like Green Stuff. I know I could get more brake torque if I went to larger rotors but I won't give up the CD-39s.
This is not an autocross car, so fade is less of a concern.

Re: HP brake booster and MC
I've been doing a few upgrades to my 74 spider lately and have fitted the same MC/booster. I haven't had a chance to test it yet as I'm a couple of weeks away from finishing the car. I also have the Wilwwod calipers with larger front discs. They work really well and like you I'm looking for a better brake pedal feel which I believe I'll get with this MC/booster. This set up is straight out of the Volumex Spider which also had the larger front discs with Brembo calipers as standard so I'm sure I'll get a great result. As soon as I get it back on the road I'll let you know how it goes.

It's a lot cheaper to play around with pads. My motto is Simple Stuff First...

Re: HP brake booster and MC
It's weird, as I remember that 20 years ago the stock brakes seemed over-boosted. I don't know if what changed in that time, but they don't feel like that any more. Not sure if I changed or the car...
FWIW a larger diameter MC in itself will increase pedal effort and reduce pedal travel. I wonder if the VX booster is more powerful.

I wonder if the stock booster becomes less effective over time even it is not leaking.
