New member upper michigan

Hi i have been reading this fourm for the past couple of months and though I would sign up.
I purchased a 69 fiat spyder last spring it is a two owner car with 30,000 origanal miles no rust very good origanal paint.
Have installed new top,carpeting,wood dash board,replaced timing belt ,water pump,tune up. And put on 3,000 mi this summer. What a great little car! In storage for the winter will be doing some upgrades in the spring. Hope to get some good advice from you guys .

Jim, welcome to the Forum! Matt's right: there's an incredible resource pool here, both in encouragement and information.

Your car sounds similar to my 72, albeit with fewer miles AND rust... . And the "work in progress" mode never really quite ends; there's always "the next tweak"!

I have seen this car at the Fiat Freakout back in 07, and met the PO's. I'm surprised they sold it, and you have found a true gem! There are Fiat friends up your way, we have visited with them at Ludington and Charlevoix. You have found a great Fiat! Hope to see you on the road too.

You must have my car confused with another one . And I live in the upper pennsula of mi. Not the upper part of lower mi.
This car had two previous owners both of which I know and I don't think this car has ever left the county since new.
