We also have the round wiper knob that is on the dash.

Re: wiper switch
My wipers have decided to randomly turn on, even though off. Does this sound like a switch, or relay problem? I hear the clicking of the relay before they start wiping.
Re: wiper switch
(XJWare) It sounds like your Fiat has acquired a bug from sitting in a strange east side garage. The virus may be located in the dash ground pod. Clean and tighten the terminals there. If the relay is like others, switch it to see if that helps. It works only on delay wipers correct?

Yes, I need to get it back up here to the uppity north side! Lol, I will have to check the grounds and the wires when I bring her home. Thanks!
