



Insufficient freeplay will cause that, or holding the clutch in when stopped for a period of time. I always run plenty of freeplay, a spring on the throwout arm on the gearbox, and gearbox in neutral with foot off the clutch when stopped at the lights.ClarkTheShark wrote:I had bought a new spec clutch - I had issues because the pressure plate put too much pressure on my thrust washers and wore them out.
