my 1977 fiat 124 spider
I have a great 1977 fiat spider, it had set for 15 years before i got it. I recently got it running (runs great) now i'm working on the brakes. The brakes did not work the pedal hit the floor, so i rebuilt the calipers and the pedal is now hard but my brakes wont release any suggestions? Thanx for your help, Big V

isolate which brakes are not releasing. The flex hoses can collapse and not let them release. a bad compensator can keep the back brakes locked.

thank you for your reply I think I've come to the conclusion that I just need to replace all four calipers or do you think I need to do that because I'm not sure what the flex hose is or what to replace on it

if you rebuilt the calipers and they arent leaking, they are most likely not the issue. The brake lines you need to replace are the 5 rubber hoses that go between caliper and the hard lines at the 4 corners and the one at the center of the rear axle. AR carries these. You probably also need the crush washer that goes at the caliper. Csaba will know exactly what you need.
