Hello Again! Still working on that wiring and lighting!
The front right and back left side markers (same fuse) and instrument panel lights will not light up. 1978' Fiat Spider
I have checked all the fuses and none of them seem to have any problems or be broken.
Any suggestions?
Oh and how do I get to the bulb in the front side markers? Through the body? Does the plastic cover pop off?
Thanks! Everyone on here has been so helpful and maybe has run into the same problem as I at one point. Really appreciate all of the help.

Check the wires that go to that fuse, make sure they are securely connected. You may have to unbolt the fusebox to do this.
The bulb holder comes out the back side of the sidemarker. Most you just pull out, a few you turn CCW and pull.

And check the ground star on either side under the hood and the connectors between the wiring harness and the marker lights. I had to tighten and clean all on mine. Bulbs also seem to be lasting longer now that the power is good.
As mentioned the bulb sockets come out from the back with a push in or bayonet attachment for lamp replacement.

78s and 79s cross over so many parts that who really knows when they stopped being a CS1 and started being a CS2?toplessexpat wrote:Lucky person! I thought they were a 2000 thing.

You have to wonder about the memo to the shop floor.
"Chaps, there's some bins over in the corner containing some new bits and bobs we've decided to buy. If you think that you'd like to use them please do. We won't be buying the old bits that they replace again, so eventually you'll have to. In the meantime, do what comes naturally." (Obviously that's a rough translation from the original Italian).

I get a feeling it may have been more to the tune of with supplier delays on the CS2 parts whenever possible please fill in with the old CS1 stock that we still have on hand to keep production moving along.toplessexpat wrote:You have to wonder about the memo to the shop floor.
