If they did rust work on the DS rear fender and did not move the harness, it may have been compromised with heat from welding and such. might be worth a visual inspection to see if any plastic is melted.

Hello,

For the Cigarette ring light?/ they did not touch anything on the ignition switch or dash? Please elaborate.

if some one put power to that wire it will back feed power to the light system
and when you turn on the lights it would cause problems.

however they didn't touch the dash, leaves me to think it may not be that problem above.joe
when you do everything correct people arent sure youve done anything at all (futurama)

FOUND IT!! Thanks for all the guidance. The shop forgot to install the ground to the left taillight. Thanks to member(s) I was able to dig and find the buried ground. It looks like it is likely paired with the ground to the fuel pump. When i hit the brakes, signals or lights it would likely cause the fuel pump to stop or slow and cause the engine to falter. This is my guess. I cleaned the contacts and installed it tightly and all is now working. Thanks to all for responding and the great guidance. I will also have the main ground checked to insure that it is not grounding thru the clutch cable. I will get it on a lift for that. At least my grounds are now cleaned again.
