I have read about every post about this and the international auto link but still have a question per my set up.
its a 1975, new coil.
My set up is a 18 gauge wire running directly from ignition to positive side of coil. The original wire (blue with marking?) was fried. On the negative side there is a brown wire that lead into fire wall to a relay on the driver side wheel well. From reading that brown wire is for tach. now coming back out of the firewall to the Dizzy are two green wires each connected to it respective point along with each condenser. According to the instructions I then attach a wire from the neg side of coil to the Dizzy, but what about the green wire? is it still used or not needed?
Thanks

Normally the green wire goes to the running points, green/black to the starting points. If you've removed the starting points then you don't need the green/black wire. But I don't know with the wire color changes what you have from the description given.

Thanks Brad. Does the green wire, doesn't matter which one, still connect to the remaining point? Does the new wire from the neg side of the coil attach to the remaining point too.

I don't know why you would need two wires, though the wiring isn't straight through from the factory. The wiring as OEM is light blue/black from the harness to the +B side of coil. Brown from the D side to the ignition relay (on the wiring diagram it becomes brown/white). Then green and green black from the ignition relay to the points.
The relay switches from one points set to another via a thermo switch, which has a blue wire running from it to the ignition relay.
All that said if you want to run one set then you have the light blue/black to the +B side of the coil and a green wire from the D side to the points and that's it. Or, as IAP puts it (link below) run the brown wire directly to the points:

I just have a jumper across where the relay is supposed to go.
