horn blows when light switch toggled up
I knew I would end up with something after pulling leads off and painting. I also did replace the pink wire to coil after the connector since it was melted good. I got most of the leads back on , except park lights (bumper still off). I also have the cowl off so the wiper leads are off. As well as rear license light. Anyway, I hooked battery up and wanted to try some trouble shooting of everything working before starting car. I lift the headlight toggle switch from the down position to middle and horn blows. What's up with that? This is a 80 spider by the way. Thanks for your input.

Sorry. Leads off the horns, blinkers, radiator fan and sending unit, grounds on fender star, wiper motor, interior counsel, radio, rear plate lights. I painted the firewall, inner fenders and front grill area between fenders. Ready to paint rest of car shortly.

The horn wires are yellow and the sibe marker wires are yellow as are parking lights. Seems to me you swopped these wires somewhere.80spiddy wrote:Sorry. Got it. You were right. I thought I had marked everything clearly. I'm going to start a new thread on a new electrical issue that cropped up. Thanks for your help.
