Anyone know the weight (even roughly) of the complete 2l engine? How about the 5spd transmission?

OK Steven, because you have the same name as my son, I went out and dropped the tranny to weigh it. It came in at 59 lbs.
I'd pull the engine also, but I don't have a cherry picker.
