1981 Spider Resto Mod

We just completed this 1981 Spider resto mod. It features 2013 Fiat 500 red, Harrington bumper kit, led marker lights and turn signals, H4 headlamps, Rota 15" wheels, Wilwood big brake kit, urethane street bushings, ADDCO sway bars, Vogtland lowering springs, rear seat delete, fiberglass replacement consoles and dash, one piece wood dash with VDO gauges, Sony audio with ipod and Pandora, USB charging ports, led courtesy lights, NRG 365mm wood steering wheel.
The 2L engine features lightweight flywheel, performance clutch, adjustable cam gears, custom timing belt cover, street performance cams, 10:1 Ross pistons, ported head, ceramic coated exhaust header and complete system, powder coated cam covers and FI plenum, custom aluminum cam cover knobs, 105 amp alternator, gear reduction starter and aluminum racing radiator with 14" fan

Why was the car not fitted with one of your Distributorless Ignition? Just curious.

Nicely done. Video looks great. Is that the light or a paint buff swirl in the hood as you do the walk around?

most of that is light reflection, but the car hasn't gotten the final detailing yet so there are some smudges visible. The new ignitions aren't quite done yet, that's the only reason this car didn't get one.

So our little home-grown Air Nazis are going to sign off on the ignition? This is quite relevant to me, along with those headers, for some future planning, since my wife won't leave the corner of hell that California has turned into ...

I don't plan to apply for CARB approval. That process is pretty expensive

Then do you plan to sell one that is pre-scuffed, scarred, scorched, etc, so it looks like it's 40 years old?
