Source for electrical connectors?

I tested my auxiliary air valve and throttle position sensor tonight. The TPS is fine, but the connector looks gnarly. The AAV's connector is also cracked and I found that one of the contacts inside had been broken and pushed in, making it unlikely that an adequate connection was made in order to heat the AAV's coil.

What is a good source for new connectors?

Pelican Parts sells them. Any Porsche/VW parts place will have them. They sell one type with the wires installed (you trim yours and install them, I use bare butt connectors and white heat shrink) or not installed (you trim your wire and use it; unfortunately most of the FIAT wiring has about 1" of corrosion in it).

Thanks, Brad. I think the kind with wires installed sounds like the easiest option. The butt connectors are simply crimped? Would any shrink tubing do, or does it have to have special properties to withstand engine bay heat? Is white shrink tubing special or is it just white? Sorry if that's a dumb question!

Thanks. I went to your site earlier and wasn't able to find it through the search function or by scrolling through electrical items. So I ordered from Eagleday.com. They had the three-wire connector which I also need. (I hope that's what I ordered! Their photo of the three-wire looks just like the two-wire, so I'm trusting that their three-wire one works with the throttle position sensor. And they offer no returns on electrical items.)

The Eagle Day versions come with no pigtail, so I have to figure out how to assemble them. I have a crimper and I'm hoping they're self-explanatory. I would imagine you pull the wire through the housing, strip it, crimp the contacts, and then pull the wire back so the contacts seat in the connector?

If I have to create my own pigtails (e.g., if I have to extend my wires after cutting off corroded ends), what is the correct gauge of wire to use for the sensors?
