Problems with the ignition

Post by carlospena96 »

My car will not start , I thought it was a problem of the ignition module , but the problem persisted , I do not know if it's a problem of the coil or electronic distributor

You mention electronic ignition, so I'm assuming a 79 or newer? The second post on this thread helped me diagnose mine: http://forums.hotrod.com/car-craft/70/6 ... e-testing/

The most common part that goes bad with the stock electronic ignition is the pickup coil in the distributor.
