How do I remove the drive gear in the distributor is the pin threaded or do you tap it out? or do I take it apart from the top? I'm trying to replace the seal. I'm getting tired of the smoke from it dripping on my manifolds.
Thanks for any advice.

Re: distributor seal
You have to knock the pin out with a punch. If it has never been removed before, it can be a real challenge to get it out. I tried everything with no luck. I eventually resorted to carefully drilling it out and replacing the pin with a roll pin. IAP has an instructional video on how to change the distributor seal here: http://www.international-auto.com/videos.cfm. Make sure you also order the distributor gasket where it is secured to the head.
