does anyone have any experience with a transmission from a 1976 131 station wagon...I am searching around for info and not finding too much
Would this 5 speed be the same that went in later brava's , steel synchro rings vs 124's brass ?
Where can you find parts to rebuild this transmission, the ones that are different than 124 spider?
thanks

if transmission housing looks like this

then it's 131 tranny. pretty much buletproof. parts are available online but did i mention that it VERY rarely goes wrong?
not just a simple swap, requires some fabrication to get it done right. in my oppinion, it's worth every penny and minute of your time, it's so much better than 124 gearbox that it's beyond words
