Electrical connectors

Post by skykng »

I'm trying to renew my fuel injection on my 82 Spider - it is original now. First step in the book: "disconnect the electrical connectors on the injectors." What's the best way of disconnecting those connectors anywhere on the car??? I have been using a needle pick to pry up each side of the wire (when I can get at it) but the injectors are very hard to reach. Any ideas/experiences appreciated. Tnx.

I simply grabbed the connector, wiggled and pulled.

4uall: How did you find that amazing post from 2010? I tried "search" but nothing useful came up......Thank you so much for that link - exactly what I was looking for, step by step. Aren't the books great that say: "disconnect, remove -- installation is reverse of removal"? Terrific help - thank you again............best, steve
