I have a 1985 Spider. The digital clock works fine, but zeroes if the car is off for more than an hour. Then the clock flashes zeroes until I set it and it works great again.
I have searched the forum and can't find any threads on this.
What is wrong and how do I fix it?

Oh man IIRC that clock has three wires, one goes to constant power and one is switched. The switched one illuminates the clock, the constant keeps the time. Check power to those leads.

I think fuse #8 is hot all the time and feeds power to the clock on a red/green wire. I would check there first.
