Just took my 76 out for a night ride and discovered that my brake lights no longer work - not sure when they stopped working either. All of my other lights are working... Where should I start with this challenge?
Thanks,
Don

Re: Brake Lights Quit Working
I would start by making sure the connectors are making good contact at the rear tail-light circuit boards.
Unplug them and plug them back in.
See if that fixes it.
If not, I would look at the brake-light switch at the brake pedal. It can be tested with an ohmmeter with the wires disconnected from it.
Also, take a look at the fuses to make sure they are all ok.
If both brake lights are not working, I would bet the problem is one of the above-mentioned items.

Not sure on a 76.
On my 80, if the left circuit board connector is not secure, it will affect both the left and right lights.
The right light is wired off of the left light connector.
