reverse/back up lights

Post by ShiroiKaze »

Fiat gurus, there's just one small step before I can get this salvaged Spider back on the road. At the connector I'm reading 45ohms. I'm wonderin if I need to replace the switch?? Sure would make my life easier...she needs a brake and lamp certification and then an emissions test to get the plates back, so all the lights need to work.

If you are reading the reverse switch resistance at the back of the transmission that is too high. The switch or the wires are bad.

a new switch is on the way, see how that plays out...this is the last obstacle to traverse before completing the reg. with the dmv

lamp sockets and associated grounds may require cleaning to get all the lights working right.

Guess we'll find out on Thursday...plus the tail-light assemblies are brand new...wiring is groovy...just a bad switch I guess...
