Chime won't stop going off and tracing wires to re connect

First-today my chime started going off anytime the key is in the ignition-even if I am driving with the seat belt on-I don't know why? It just started this today!

Second-the PO had disconnected some wiring that seems to be running the fuel gauge, speedometer and tac as well as I think brake and back up lights-Even though I am trying to read wiring diagram-the connection for theses wires is confusing- Not sure how to tell. One round connector just under right of the ignition switch has about 5-6 connectors with only two things connected right now. Could this be where the problem is? I would load a picture but I am not quite sure how to do that for this site

What can you not tell? You need to reconnect things to where they are supposed to be connected, test them, and diagnose the issues. With things disconnected you don't know whats coming or going.
