Ignition key won't turn...

My key won't turn at all to the right to start the car...

I noticed a few times that it would stick a bit - almost like you had to release a steering wheel lock.

Today and I can't even get it to turn...key goes in but I don't want to force it and risk snapping the key off.

Any thoughts or is my ignition switch done?

Did you try rotating the steering wheel while you are turning the key?? Sometime the pressure on the steering wheel locking pin will keep the key from retracting it. Rotating the steering wheel can release the locking pin.
