hi i,ve been reading these posts several years now never got around to jion.my i,st 2 fiats were in germany in the 70,s owed another coupe in the 80,s.my last was 71 fiat spider with a 74 spider for parts (donated trans).my wife and i enjoyed the 71 for several years.always turned heads. when you park you beter run away quick if you don,t want to ansyer questions.but for the last year it has sat in garage, my wife had a stroke,parcially paralized in wheelchair and she is now scared of our liitle car.so i think i might pass on the 2 cars to somone else.the 71 ruuns great & is very drivable 100% complete. the 74 is missing the trans & did run good till i took out trans 71 body is in good shape but does have some rust. the 74 is rusty but has a lot of donner parts.sad to see it sit there waing for someone to make it get four gears rubber or get 45 miles to gallon again.
