Hello from SF,

After having this disease for around 50 years, I'm still going strong....just bought an 850 Spider that's been in storage for 20 years. Why do I do this to myself?

Why, I'll tell you why: because you can never have too many cars....they're all different.

I've also taken one of my two 124 Spiders out of storage and it runs fine but failed CA emissions. So far, I have the EGR working, and I have the air injection tubes off the engine (after mangling a 13mm with vice and torch), and have used a bicycle brake cable as a snake to open the tubes up. It's clear from looking at the ports in the head that there's still plenty of carbon everywhere, and the brake cable isn't cutting it.

So I thought I would say HI before bombarding the forum with questions. Like this one....

P.s...please don't tell my wife about the 850.

Welcome aboard! You will find plenty of knowledgeable and friendly people here. And we won't tell the wife about that 850....

Post some pictures! They help a great deal when trying to help diagnose problems, inquiries, etc that you may have.
