1984 Pininfarina Azzura
1984 Pininfarina Azzura
I just bought this car, and it's my first Fiat. I've owned other classic cars, but sold my last one two years ago and wanted another. It's described as a "1984" but was manufactured in November 1983. Are there any conventions on this?

No, not really, they put these things together and used parts from prior years at times. 1983 was a real cross over year for badging where the car might have been badged equally FIAT and Pinafarrina. I don't think they moved to Rack & Pinion until the 85 year. Your car should have the Azzura badges, luggage shelf instead of back seat ack and all the eminities of the electronic ignition and relaible L-Jet fule injection. Outside of back seat and badging I think your car is the same as the 1980-1983 CSO. Good car to have with a lot of available parts. Slightly higher in value because it is a one off from the standard made by Pininfarina and not by FIAT.
Buon giro a tutti! - enjoy the ride!
