Reverse Switch Wire Holder Clip
Reverse Switch Wire Holder Clip
When replacing the clutch fork (different post) the wires on the back of the reverse switch along with the contacts and spring came out of the reverse switch assembly. I have seen a picture of the spring steel clip that is supposed to hole this part in place on the back of the switch, but mine was never there, just been lucky that the plastic sleeve had some friction on it to hold everything together until now. Any ideas on where to get this clip or how to repair? Or do I just replace the switch. I have the 3-wire switch. If I need to replace where can I find one?
Re: Reverse Switch Wire Holder Clip
Removed the switch from tranny and the bakolight last if inside was cracked/broken. Thus why the wires fell off. I have the 3 wire switch for 1978. Can anyone point me to wring diagram for 3 wire?

Anyone know where I can get a new/used switch? Midwest is out of stock.

They are back ordered. After some research, I found that the 3rd wire is for emissions which I don't have anymore. Located the two wires that make reverse lights work and go for the lesser expensive 2-pole switch.
