I've been trying to start up my Spider since finishing the suspension rebuild. I figured out yesterday that the carb wasn't getting any fuel so I decided to disconnect the out-line from the fuel pump, put it into a pan, and turn it over to see if any fuel came out. The car turned over once then made a loud click, followed by power dying completely to all circuits. Is there some fuse that blows if you try to start it while the rear of the car is on jack stands?
Really hoping I didn't somehow blow my ignition cylinder...
<<<DISREGARD>> put her back on the wheels and power is back on
Is there a fuse I don't know about?

voltage drop, I'd repair it before you're stranded somewhere

Does raise a concern that you have a wire that is getting torqued by the suspension or body twisting when you have it up on jacks.
