Just got a 73 spider

Post by BS320i »

Hi Just joined the group.

Just got a 73 sport spider.
Plan to start cleaning it up and going over the mechanics after Christmas.
Car is in #3 shape but runs well and needs cosmetic work.

Cheers

Thanks all.

Planning to post photos as I start going over it.
Just scored a nice black interior from a 71. My interior is badly sun baked.
Plan to pull out the old interior and address the floor pans .

Happy Holidays to all !!!

Hello and Welcome! Seventy-three's are the best!

Seat removal can be challenging; you need a #3 long-handle Phillips screwdriver and some muscle. Consider replacing those with cap screws, which are much easier to take out next time.

Thanks for the heads up on the seat screws.
