I've been a member for the past 5 years as I've slowly worked on my 1976 124 that my wife bought me for my 40th birthday. This site has been an invaluable resource and I couldn't have gotten this far without the support of the very generous folks who respond to my questions. I am no longer in the Seattle area but have moved over the eastern side of the state (also referred to as the "dry side"
) and would love to connect up with fellow enthusiasts as I try to get my ride off blocks and back on the road for the first time in 2 years. "Civilians" just don't get it.
