Headlights will not come on

My headlights will not come on,I checked all fuses,replaced headlight switch and new headlights ,only running lights come on but when I switch to headlights nothing comes on including running lights.Any suggestions would be appreciated.my next step is to replace ignition switch

It might be a good time to re-wire the power to the headlights with a relay. This will make your lights brighter, as it will remove the power that now runs through your ignition switch. Also it will help increase the longevity of the ignition switch. Win,win!
