My wife and I own a 1982 Spider and we love it. Just got back from driving it to Glacier NP and back to Iowa.
Looking forward to learning more about these little buggies and getting to know folks.

Re: Good morning from Iowa
Joe,
Did that trip from Seattle a couple of years ago in my 1980 Spider, along with Yellowstone. Going to the Redwoods this summer, then back to Glacier and Yellowstone next summer. It would be great to see other Spiders on the road . . . but all you seem to see are SUVs.
I would think from where you are that you would have some great road-trips up into the upper Michigan peninsula, upper Wisconsin, etc.
Anyway, welcome to the site, and glad to hear you are adventuring out in your Spider!
John

Re: Good morning from Iowa
Thanks everyone, for the warm welcome!
We're on the east side of Iowa, so not right near South Dakota.
I think we're planning on going to Yellowstone next year with it. Would be an amazing trip. You're correct though, not many of anything other than trucks and minivans in that part of the world...lol We did take a fall color tour in it last year up the the North shore of Lake Superior.
I fall in love with the little Fiat a little more with every trip we take in it.
