For anyone on or near the Cape, there is a car show at Exit 9A, Dennis, at Patriot Square, from 1-5 today. Should be a few hundred cars, it is the end of Summer/Labor Day Show for the Cape Cod Classics Car Club. Gates open at 11:30. Taking the run down from Plymouth.

Re: Dennis MA Car Show Today
Well I took First Place in my class at the Dennis MA Show on Saturday. "Outstanding 1980-89 Car". No one was more shocked than I, This club is pretty much an American muscle group, but everyone was interested in the Spider. Unlike some local shows, they all really loved the various modifications, especially the interior. (makes sense, these are American muscle guys, with superchargers popping through holes cut in hoods etc). I overheard one judge say that if these cars had looked like this in the past, Fiat would have had a better time of it. Very humbled. Maybe 150 cars were present, it was a beautiful day and perfect weather!
(the white hood support rod is just a safety item that I use at shows, so no worries that a high wind gust might bring down the hood on little fingers).
My friend Paul also took First Place in his class, with his '56 Corvette. No one was surprised at that; He needs to build a room to hold all the trophies he has won with that car! He also has a '47 MG-TC, and just bought a 1914 Tin Lizzie, I will try to post the video I took of that neat, almost totally original car.
Earlier this week, we took the wives and went off for a wonderful ride from Wellfleet to North Truro, Great Hollow, up the back way. The cancer isn't slowing Jeannie down too much in the warm weather, and we are thankful for that.
