Installing new stainless steel brake lines from A/R.
I know there is supposed to be a crush gasket between the banjo bolt and banjo, is there also meant to be one between the banjo and caliper? I don't think so but wanted to doublecheck before I put everything together.
Also the new banjos have a hole on the face, not just on the interior hole. I assume they should be facing down. There wasn't any on the original banjos. It may just be a manufacturing item because I can't see that fluid should be coming out of there.
Thanks and cheers,

Re: Brake banjo bolt - crush gasket
Despite the original lines not having a crush gasket between the banjo and csliper, turns out it was required to get rid of a persistant leak. I suppose it makes sense given the metal to metsl contact.
The shop mamual did, indeed, indicate to use two, top and bottom, though the lines in the diagram were assembled completely differently.
