Hi
I currently have a pull up reverse engagement 5 speed from an early 124.
I want to replace the gearbox with a later model that has push down reverse engagement.
I want to keep the pull up reverse extension. Can i simply swap them over?
I mean, can i remove the push down extension and replace it with my old pull up extension and that it?

Re: Gearbox Extension compatability
The up or down is part of the extension, not the transmission. So yes, you can swap it over.
